Welcome to the Privacy Policy for Juno Veterinary (“the Company,” “we” or “us“), a veterinary clinic that’s reimagining, reinspiring, and redesigning pet care. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose information from our users, including with respect to the Juno Veterinary website, content, applications, services, tools and features and the related Juno Veterinary mobile application (collectively, the “Services”). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” means you as the user of the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other entity then “you” includes you and that entity, and you represent and warrant that (a) you are an authorized representative of the entity with the authority to bind the entity to these Terms, and (b) you agree to these Terms on the entity's behalf.

The Services can only be accessed and used subject to the Juno Veterinary Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.

PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY. BY USING, ACCESSING, OR DOWNLOADING ANY OF THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE THAT YOU ARE BOUND BY THE JUNO VETERINARY TERMS OF SERVICE AND PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO OUR TERMS OF SERVICE AND PRIVACY POLICY, THEN YOU MAY NOT ACCESS AND USE THE SERVICES.

1. TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with you or your pet ("Personal Information"). The specific types of Personal Information we collect depend on how you interact with our Services.

Information You Provide to Us

Account and Contact Information:
We collect your name, email address, physical address, and phone number when you register for an account or book an appointment.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled securely via Stripe. We collect your payment method information, though we do not store full credit card numbers on our systems.
Communications: We collect information that we exchange with you, including when you contact us with questions, feedback, or support requests.
Marketing Information: We collect your preferences for receiving communications about our services and publications, and details about how you engage with our communications.

Pet Health Data and Information

To provide high-quality veterinary care, we collect and maintain data regarding your pet(s):

Pet Profile Information: We collect your pet’s name, age, breed, and neuter/spay status.
Clinical Records: Our Services display your pet’s medical history, weight, and vaccination records. While this information is viewable within the App for your convenience, it is managed by our clinical team and cannot be edited directly by users within the App.
Facility Recordings: We collect Audio and Video Recordings that are generally made and captured within our physical facilities and veterinary clinics for safety, training, and clinical quality purposes.

Information Collected Automatically

Product Usage Information: We collect information about how you interact with our Services, including the products and services you purchase, and information relating to any support issues.

2. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

Juno does not sell your Personal Information or your pet’s health data. We only share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors, such as for payment processing, who perform services on our behalf.
At Your Request: We do not share pet health data with external labs, specialists, or insurance providers unless you explicitly ask or authorize us to do so.
Legal Obligations: We may share information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

3. DATA RETENTION

We may retain your personal information for as long as it is reasonably needed in order to maintain and expand our relationship and provide you with our services; in order to comply with our legal and contractual obligations; or to protect ourselves from any potential disputes. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of such information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of such information, the purposes for which we process it, and the applicable legal requirements.

4. DATA DELETION

You have the following rights regarding your Personal Information:

Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. You can do this directly within the Juno App by navigating to Settings > Delete Account.
Manual Requests: You may also request data deletion or access by emailing us at hello@junovet.com.
Clinical Records Note: Please note that requesting account deletion does not result in the immediate destruction of clinical medical records, which Juno is legally required to maintain for the 7-year retention period mentioned above. These records will no longer be accessible via the App once the account is deleted.
