Dr. Masato Yamada

National Medical Director & Veterinarian
BSc DVM
He/him

Ever since a high school co-op placement at a veterinary clinic, it was the only place Masato wanted to be. After earning his veterinary degree from the Ontario Veterinary College, he became a veterinarian in 2007. Today, he serves as Juno's National Medical Director. He's focused on building a practice recognized for innovation: embracing new technology and better ways to deliver care. But his vision keeps connection at the centre — every advancement should strengthen, not replace, the relationships between teams, members, and their pets. He encourages his teams to stay curious and challenge the status quo, always measuring each decision against one question: does this help us better care for pets and the people who love them?
