Dr. Julie Downer

After earning a chemistry degree, Julie planned to head into human medicine or research — until a summer job at a veterinary clinic changed her path and combined her love of science, animals, and people. You'll find her taking the time to put both pets and their families at ease, listening and building trust to make every visit a positive one. Julie's been practicing since 1997, holds her degree from the Ontario Veterinary College, and has a special soft spot for cats — cat days are the best days.
